steinway rebuilt

a fine rebuilt job by an experience professional piano technician in UK. this is a 117 years old steinway model O. the job consist of replacement of new pin block, bridge caps, new strings, tuning pins, refinishing soundboard. new wippens and hammer heads with flanges. a true job with love. respect!

piano technology workshop (malaysia)

the piano tuner and tech group are very happy to have Wim Blees from America to give another small group workshop in kuala lumpur malaysia on 2017 january 23th.

the first gathering was back in 2016 last year 24th january which is just one year apart.

piano tuners from all around different part of malaysia gather together to share their knowledge, and learn from each other.

Registered piano tuner & technician KL

i recently travelled to auckland New Zealand to visit PTTGNZ pttgnzand meanwhile to sit for an ARPT or Australasian Registered Piano Technician  exam.  well i finally passed a comprehensive assessment of my skill and i am very happy about it, it shows that my years of handwork and  effort is finally recognised by professional technician. 

it does not mean that i am very good and professional after achieving the result, i was also attending a mini convention during this trip and I am happy to meet many tuner & technician (NZ, AUSTRALIA, FRANCE,GERMANY, KOREA ,USA etc) who are willing to pour you heaps of knowledge and information

which i have never known,  that is because they want to make you a better skill man, they believe by doing so, the guild will become stronger. the guild will often have a chapter meeting to share about the work, but too bad am too far away.
